Author

Writer and editor Louise Simonson launched Power Pack and Web of Spider-Man and wrote memorable runs on New Mutants and X-Factor - helping map out the "Mutant Massacre," "Inferno" and "X-Tinction Agenda" crossovers. Her major editorial credits include Star Wars and Uncanny X-Men. At DC, she wrote multiple Superman titles and became one of the main creative forces behind the "Death of Superman" saga; her scripts also appeared in Detective Comics, New Titans and more. She returned to Marvel to write the Galactus the Devourer limited series and 1999-2000's Warlock, starring characters from New Mutants.

Ron Marz broke into comics in the early '90s with a lengthy run on Marvel's Silver Surfer, followed by a stint on DC's Green Lantern, where he co-created Kyle Rayner. In 2000, Marz joined the creative team at CrossGen, working on Sojourn, Mystic, The Path and Scion, among others. He also had an acclaimed run on Top Cow's Witchblade which lasted nearly a decade. He has recently returned to Marvel, writing Silver Surfer: Rebirth.

John Jackson Miller was the editor of Comics Retailer magazine for ten years. He began his comics-writing career with the Crimson Dynamo miniseries for Marvel's Epic imprint, which led to a run on Iron Man. Miller writes Dark Horse's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

June Brigman helped launch Power Pack, and penciled the adventures of Cloak and Dagger in both their own title and Strange Tales. Her art appeared throughout Marvel's 1980s team titles - including Alpha Flight, New Mutants and Uncanny X-Men. She penciled one of DC's many Supergirl series, worked with Pack writer Louise Simonson on Dark Horse's Star Wars: River of Chaos miniseries and served as artist on long-running comic strip Brenda Starr. She has taught at the Kubert School, as well as the Atlanta branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design.

A newcomer to Marvel Comics, former Star Wars artist Brian Ching's first credits for the House of Ideas include Incredible Hulks and Chaos War: Thor.

A professional comic-book artist since 2003, Dustin Weaver's work on Dark Horse's Star Wars and King Kong led him to Marvel, where he's drawn X-Universe storylines in X-Men: Kingbreaker, X-Men: Legacy and the X-Necrosha one-shot. Weaver has collaborated with writer Jonathan Hickman on two S.H.I.E.L.D. series, as well as Avengers. He wrote the Rocksteady and Bebop issue of IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Villains Micro-Series and produces the webcomic Amnia Cycle on his blog.
