Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author. Mark's books for Bloomsbury include The Shape of My Heart, Snappy Birthday, Dino-Mummy, Dino-Baby, Dino-Daddy, Four Silly Skeletons, The Naughty Naughty Baddies and I'll Love You Always. He lives in Bristol.
Natelle Quek is a Malaysian-born illustrator who spent the latter half of her formative years growing up in New Zealand. She now lives in leafy south-east England and focuses on children's illustration. She is the illustrator of If I Were the World by Mark Sperring and Wild Wild Wood by Anna Kemp. She loves using bold colours and cinematic perspectives in her art.
