Field trips, extracurricular places of learning or even outdoor education´ have hardly been considered in philosophy didactics so far. This volume aims to close this gap and to stimulate further research and discussion. Theoretical-conceptual contributions discuss the essence of philosophical education and its compatibility with experiential education approaches; possible cooperation partners describe their self-image and perspective. Exemplary teaching units demonstrate the methodological-practical level and first empirical research approaches finally put their approaches up for discussion.
