Description

A few days after the departure of Miss Howard, who has told Mrs. Emily Inglethorp in an argument that her husband Alfred is cheating on her, Mrs. Inglethorp has severe cramps at night. But when the relatives go to see her, her room is locked. After the door is broken open, Emily Inglethorp is only able to say her husband's name before she passes away. Her husband, however, is out of the house that day. The poison specialist Dr. Bauerstein, who was already near the house at the time of Mrs. Inglethorp's death, and the arriving family physician Dr. Wilkins suspect that Mrs. Inglethorp died of strychnine poisoning. Only Poirot can find out, who did it! Gröls Classics - English Edition
