Description

The book is a dedication to the author's mother as he was very close to her, who has since passed away. She was and still is, his biggest motivation.Anthony D. William Sr. grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and has been part of law enforcement since 1993 (30 years). In 2015, he was a Lieutenant in the Memphis Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit. Among other DV cases they also investigated elder abuse cases and he got to see first hand how horrendous those cases were. That's what inspired him to create his advocacy titled 'Teaching a Lion to Sing', which has its own Facebook page under that title. This has also been an inspiration for creating the characters in this piece of literature. The author creates PSAs and publish his own work on that Facebook page.
